We’re looking for you in the UK to join our diverse RWE teams, driving the energy transition through innovative technologies such as onshore and offshore wind, solar, hydrogen, hydropower, batteries, gas and biomass. We also offer exciting opportunities in energy trading and market analytics – the heart of RWE’s commercial operations.

Engineering

As an engineer at RWE in the UK, you’ll work with leading technologies and play a key role in delivering projects that shape the future of energy. Whether your background is in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Process Engineering – there’s a place for your expertise at RWE. You name it, we have it.

Operations & Maintenance

You’re the expert we rely on when the energy stops flowing – thriving on troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems. But your work goes far beyond fixing things. Supply & Trading

Our Supply & Trading business is a leading force in European energy trading and one of the key players in the global gas market. With decades of experience and a sharp eye for market developments and trends, we represent the RWE Group on international wholesale markets for energy, commodities and related services.

Project Development

Project development at RWE is a multi-stage journey – from the first idea to the construction decision of an energy facility. It includes planning, permitting, and execution across renewables like wind, solar, hydro, plus hydrogen, gas, and energy storage. Our success depends on skilled developers, precise planning, and strong partnerships to deliver every project seamlessly.

The application process in the UK

The process takes, depending on the role you would like to apply for, usually between 4 - 10 weeks and includes the following steps:

Once you’ve found a suitable position, apply exclusively online using the “Apply now” button in the respective job description. If you have all the documents ready, the application process will only take 3 - 5 minutes.

The next steps in the application process depend on the individual position you’ve applied for. It may include:

  • Check-in call with HR and/or the hiring manager
  • Interview with HR and/or the hiring manager (virtually, by phone or in person)
  • (Mini-) assessment centre
  • Case study
  • Meeting the team

Some roles require a medical examination. You’ll be informed in due course.

If it suits both parties, we will be happy to make you an offer and send you the contract. Please send it back as soon as possible. The entire process typically takes about 4 - 10 weeks. That's just the beginning. Now the real fun starts. Even before you join RWE, we'll start with your pre-boarding. We'll do everything we can to make it as easy as possible for you to join #TeamRWE.
