Following recent trespass at one of its operational power stations, RWE Generation UK plc (RWE) has decided to seek an injunction at the High Court of England and Wales in order to protect six of its major gas generating sites:
- Staythorpe,
- Pembroke,
- Didcot B,
- Little Barford,
- Great Yarmouth and
- Kings Lynn power stations.
Gas generation is key in providing security of supply in the UK and their safe and continuing operation is therefore paramount. The injunction has been granted by the High Court on the 3rd of October and will protect those sites against trespassers as well as ensuring the safety of our operational staff.
